RESPONSIBLE TRAVEL
GABON ADVENTURE
WELCOMES YOU
Gabon Adventure at a Glance
A Bit of Background
Promoting responsible tourism is the primary goal of Gabon ADVENTURE. We make sure that our visits have a positive impact on the places and local people we visit.

For Gabon ADVENTURE, responsible tourism involves initiating partnerships with partners whose mission is the preservation of the environment; having a fair relationship with our employees; respecting the customs and culture of places we visit; making sure that local people benefit economically and socially by employing them as leaders, guides and drivers; and value local hotels and minimize our impact on the environment by traveling in small groups, offsetting our carbon emissions, reducing waste and supporting conservation projects.
What we do
Charities and Projects
Gabon ADVENTURE is directly concern in supporting projects in places we visit in health such as the distribution of Mosquito Nets, facilitating the access to safe sanitation and clean water; eduction projects on the distribution of educations items; and finally supporting local entrepreneurship through training and small grants.
Responsible Travel Tour
Gabon ADVENTURE is the right partner when it comes to visit Gabon and enjoying its Wildlife diversity.
However, during your visit to Gabon, it is import to comply with responsible principles: you may make special friendships and experience generous hospitality when abroad. Gifts that are evocative of your home country such as postcards and photographs make ideal presents. Avoid buying souvenirs that exploit wildlife or threaten endangered species. Buying local souvenirs helps the local economy. Don't give out sweets, pens or money, especially to children. Giving to children will only teach them that begging is rewarding and can undermine parental authority. It is far better to interact with children. Finally, you can help support many of the charitable initiatives we are involved with to help people and the environment in the places you are travelling to.
Field Study Research Projects
We are assisting international students working on research projects related to the Gabon culture, wildlife and natural diversity.
Responsible volunteering
Volunteering tourists can join local communities through careful sustainability planning at our volunteer project locations. We seek to increase the positive impact of our volunteers and operational practices on the social, cultural and physical environment within which our projects are based.
